THIS IS AN EMAIL BETWEEN NIGHTSKYPI INVESTIGATORS (Mark and Kel) INVOLVING A LUCID DREAM FROM JAN. 5, 2016
(Mark to Kel)
I have had dreams occasionally but usually don't even remember what they are.
Today after the kids went to school I went back to room and laid down again.
I had what apparently is a "lucid dream"..... A dream that appeared so real to me... that I couldn't tell if I was awake or dreaming. I somehow was at church... and like I do during a weekday when there helping to fix things, there are other people around etc. I suddenly appeared in the gym/large meeting hall. I was near a lift device for getting up to lights we are repairing and I noticed that a light was missing, and so assumed someone had brought it down to repair and forgot to put lift back.. then I got into the big dilemma of whether or not I should put the lift away. Then I went to what appeared to be chapel room to right of regular sanctuary with people in it. I still could not tell if I was dreaming... so i thought, sometimes people pinch themselves to tell, but then thought that might hurt. So I thought maybe if I can feel my surroundings it must be real. So I touched the wood on a church bench... and could feel it in the dream. So thought it was real. I remember myself wearing like pajama bottoms and felt.. well that isn't normal.. am I dreaming or not. It all felt so real.... weird. I will have to do a self test next time to find out whether dreaming or not. That is so freaky... when your thought process in a dream is wondering whether you are dreaming or not. Wow. I have never had such a lucid dream before. It was only after I woke up that I began to notice that things in dream were off. There is no chapel like that in church... at least to the right side of sanctuary, and I would never wear pj's out in public. That is kind of why when I mention ghosts... and how they suddenly appeared where they are... that they may believe they are dreaming and are still dreaming 40 years later, in a dream they can't wake up from. Things do not seem real... and our acting like we belong at a school as parents (*referring to the Farrar Schoolhouse Investigation)... even though it should be common sense that we are not... may appear as a lucid dream.. especially to someone who worked there in the past such as a principle.. and is now a ghost? Are they trapped in what appears to be a lucid dream, and they are just going along with it, believing it to be a dream... that just seems real? Just my thoughts. I can't believe that you were so aware during your dream. That you had the thought process that you did. Thinking about how a pinch would hurt and looking for something else to clarify your reality. I had never heard of self testing during a dream.
Are you going to follow the tips that were in the article you sent me and self test while you are awake? Did it seem like doing such tests would increase lucid dream occurrences or did I read that wrong? Would it also be a theory that someone that practices self testing regularly while alive would be more aware of their dead self? Not like those that may be unaware that they are dead and feel that they are in a state of sleep instead?
Very thought provoking as both a lucid dreamer as well as an investigator. Good work, my friend. :-)

I will try to practice the self test when asleep and unable to tell if awake or asleep if it ever happens again. I don't know if I want to entice lucid dreams. That is actually so freaky being unable to tell what state you are in. It is like you knowing you are awake right now... but are you? Here is what I was thinking. Ghosts may have already done the self test. If you can walk through walls or float, (*or push two fingers through the palm of your hand, like article says) that is a sign that you are dreaming.. right?. Now imagine you being a new ghost, and out of your body. Just the experience of being out of your body is dreamlike, and when you can walk through things, or float (as well as being seemingly invisible to some others)... in the confusion would you not believe you are in a dream and it will eventually end...? (*another thought... when they say "help me"... could they be asking for help to get OUT of this lucid dream they are TRAPPED in? If they believe they are dreaming, they may not know they are dead and need to pass on to the "light"? Ya... that's a Hmmm?)
There is a movie.."Inception".. I don't know if you have seen it.. that lucid dreams are a part of it. I know they were like spies who induced people into dreams to get information from them. The dreams actually went to a point of a dream, within a dream, within a dream, within a dream, etc. so several layers of dreaming. Now I have started to understand that movie a little more. They actually have something they carry in their pocket. I know one carries a top. If the top spins indefinitely, they know they are still inside this lucid dream and it is not real. The movie is actually hard to follow because it is sooo deep. I will have to watch it again sometime now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3-a58Wt2tk
